Levco’s modular cylinder extension system — a practical and efficient solution for creating extended cylinders.
Extended cylinders are typically needed for doors with a thickness of 50mm or more, or where a mortice lock is positioned off-centre within the door. The added cylinder length allows the face of the cylinder to project correctly beyond the door and escutcheon, ensuring smooth and convenient key operation.
The system offers excellent versatility, allowing a wide range of cylinder lengths to be achieved by adding or removing extension pieces as required. These components are securely assembled into a specially designed extended cylinder base, with the appropriate cam fitted to suit the required lock function, ready for installation.
